Humla District is a part of Karnali Pradesh, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Simikot as its district headquarters, covers an area of 5,655 km2 (2,183 sq mi) and has population of 50,858 as per the census of 2011. The Northern part of Humla District is inhabited by Khas people, originating from Sinjar valley, whereas the North border is mostly inhabited by Tibetans.

Ilam district is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. It is a Hill district and covers 1,703 km2 (658 sq mi). The 2011 census counted 290,254 population. The municipality of Ilam is the district headquarters, about 600 km (370 mi) from Kathmandu.

Jajarkot District is a part of Karnali province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Khalanga as its district headquarters, covers an area of 2,230 km2 (860 sq mi) and has a population of 171,304 in the 2011 Nepal census.

Jhapa is a district of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal named after a Tibetan word "Jhapa" meaning "cover" (verb). The latest official data, the 2011 Nepal Census, puts the total population of the district at 812,650. Jhapa is one of the most ethnically diverse districts of the country and is home to 110 ethnic groups. The total area of the district is 1606 square kilometers.

Jumla District is one of the ten directly constituent districts of the Karnali province of Nepal. This district has Jumla as its headquarters, an area of 2,531 square kilometers (977 sq mi); it had populations of 89,427 and 108,921, respectively, in the national censuses of 2001 and 2011. Its territory lies between longitudes 81⁰ 28' and 82⁰ 18' East and between latitudes 28⁰ 58' and 29⁰ 30' North.
